Reggie King Sears live at Heidi’s Jazz Club
September 13 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
$15.00 - $210.00
South Florida-based soul-blues guitarist, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Reggie King Sears is a former child prodigy turned electrifying showman, blending blues, Southern soul, funk, rock, and hip hop into his signature high-octane style: Ghetto Soul.
At just 33, Sears is a seasoned performer with a career that began before most teens learn power chords. He’s shared stages with icons like Buddy Guy, Solomon Burke, The Temptations, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and Pat Benatar—earning praise from across genres. B.B. King told him, “Keep on picking, young man, and keep the Blues alive.”
Solomon Burke crowned him “The King.” Christone Ingram calls him “the real deal.” Bootsy Collins, Noodles of The Offspring, and Tears for Fears’ Roland Orzabal have all sung his praises.
By age 20, Sears had released four albums, earned multiple #1 radio hits, and became the youngest honorary member of the James Brown Band. He cut his teeth on the Chitlin’ Circuit, honing a high-voltage stage show that’s equal parts guitar mastery and pure soul.
Now in 2025, Reggie returns with a powerful new album, Crowned and Dangerous, showcasing the next evolution of his genre-blurring artistry. Whether he’s tearing through a blues solo or dropping into a funk groove, Sears proves night after night that he’s not just a player—he’s a movement.
